Arthur Brothers Airborne Asbestos Measurements
Attached are asbestos monitoring results of Arthur Brothers employees. Sampling was performed while men removed insulation containing asbestos from pipes in the Boilerhouse No. 11 and 12 area.
Measurements were obtained (as per Federal Register, Vol. 39, No. 125, p. 23544) by attaching monitoring equipment to the Arthur Brothers employees thought to be most exposed to the airborne asbestos.
To enable Arthur Brothers to conduct their own OSHA-required asbestos
monitoring, a program is now underway to train Mr. R. S. "Dick" Moseley cjB.:.

Section 1910. 1001 Asbestos
Sampling Frequency and Patterns
After the initial determinations, samples shall be of such frequency and pattern as to represent with reasonable accu racy the levels of exposure of the employees. In no case shall sampling be at intervals greater than 6 months for em ployees whose exposures to asbestos may reasonably be fore seen to exceed the exposure limits.
