The minutes of the Directors Meeting of
May 29, 1929, were approved.
The Secretary's report was read and accepted
as follows:
'The Secretary presented a letter from Dr. Joseph C. Aub of Bostonto Mr. Crane, relative .to continuing the medical research on lead poisoning ^.initiated several years ago. and supported privately by some of the members of the Lead Industries Associ ation. He pointed out that the work of Dr. Aub and his associates had been highly praised in medical and other circles. This research was part of a program to learn the facte about lead poisoning and was designed to help the medical profession take a more intelligent attitude toward that ailment. Dr. Aub requested an additional appropriation of Ten thousand dollars-($10,000), for the purpose of continuing his research. It was
Moved and seconded that the Secretary circularize the membership of the Lead Industries Association request ing voluntary contributions for the support of the medical research conducted by Dr. Joseph C. Aub and his associates, and that the Secretary indicate to each member what his contribution would be if based upon the present ratio for furnishing the association with its financial support.
The meeting adjourned at 2:45 P.M.
