Wassell Pursuant to the terms of the consent agreement involving the former Krummrich landfill, a public meeting was held yesterday evening to inform the public of the work to be conducted at the site. We issued a press release to announce the meeting, and sent letters to opinion leaders in the area. Our press release was printed in the Belleville News-Democrat: Cahokia Duno-Journal; and the East St. Louis Journal. The meeting was attended by representatives of Monsanto; Geraghty and Miller, our engineering consultants; Fleishman Hillard, our public relations consultants; and the Illinois EPA. From the apparent lack of interest on the part of the public and the media, we believe that we have reassured the community that no immediate threat to human health or the environment exists, and that Monsanto will do the right thing. The next public meeting will take place in approximately eighteen months, pursuant to the terms of the consent agreement.
