As a last item the Chairman suggested that the name of his committee be changed from Dust Abatement to Environmental Contral Committee

The Department of Natural Resources is also ready to finalize the transfer of the property and equipment of the Thetford Mine Rescue Station pending an official resolution of transfer of property and

The General Manager attended the recent Mines Ministeral Conferance and the Joint Meeting of the Provincial Mining Associations held in Quebec City September 15th to 19th Two items of interest on the
