In fact the great majority of installa tions are in buildings already erected. In many cases the need for acoustical absorption is not apparent until the building is in use or the owner has had an opportunity to compare his structure with another that has been treated with Quietile. READILY ERECTED iN BUSY OFFICES Erection, either by the Sales Engineering Division of the I'nited States Gypsum Company or one of its licensed con tractors, is arranged for busy offices so that the routine of the office is not disturbed. Has the soft pleasing texture of cut stone. PERFATILE A fireproof perforated metal tile acoustical absorbent. Has the natural advantages of a fireproof mate rial, can be painted, and can be cleaned by washing. SABINITE An acoustical plaster finish put on in two coats over a gypsum base coat. Another type is made for application over Portland Cement. I'sed in new construc tion. Has the natural advantages inherent in a plaster finish. USG SYSTEM OF SOUND INSULATION This sys tem includes a complete service for the prevention of sound travel through walls, ceilings and floors. TREMBAR MACHINE BASES The object of Treni- Bar Bases is to isolate machine-created noise and vibration from floors and building framework and to prevent machine noise from being carried directly from the machines into the structure. Each base is designed for the load and spe cial conditions it must meet. Installation is made by the Engineering Sales Division of the United States Gypsum Company or one of its licensed contractors.
