Hopeful that this email finds you well! I handle scheduling for Administrator Pruitt and have a favor to ask of you. We received the attached invitation for a speaking engagement in your region. Would it be possible for someone in your shop to cover and if so would they mind reaching out to Mr. Ailor to set up? Please let me know if you have any questions for me.
Thank you!

The Honorable Scott Pruitt Administrator U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Ariel Rios Building 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. Washington, DC 20460
Dear Administrator Pruitt:
Congratulations on you just being confirmed as the next Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. I wish you well in your new position.
I am writing to ask you to attend the 2017 Annual Meeting of the American Coke and Coal Chemicals Institute (ACCCI) being held from Saturday, April 29 through Sunday, April 30, 2017, at The Resort at Longboat Key Club on Longboat Key, FL and to be the keynote speaker on the morning of April 30.
ACCCI (www.accci.org) was formed in 1944 by companies interested in establishing a forum to discuss and act upon issues of common concern to the metallurgical coke and coal chemicals industry. Today, ACCCI represents over 95% of the metallurgical coke produced in the U.S. and Canada, including both merchant coke producers and integrated steel companies with coke production capacity, and 100% of companies producing coal chemicals in the U.S. and Canada. Nearly 150 representatives from about 45 companies contribute their knowledge and expertise to enhance the effectiveness of the Institute's programs.
You would be the keynote speaker following reports by company senior executives on the status of and outlook for three industry sectors of great interest/concern to ACCCI's membership - the automotive, coal chemicals and steel sectors. One hour would be allotted for your remarks and Q&A. Those present would be very interested in learning what your plans are for EPA's programs and policies under the Trump administration, particularly insofar as the prior administration's "war on coal."
ACCCI's annual meetings remain the premier forum for company senior executives from U.S. and Canadian metallurgical coke and coal chemicals producers, as well as industry suppliers to these companies. The attendees are basically a who's who of the metallurgical coke and coal chemicals sectors of the economy. Attendees will include the ACCCI Board of Directors; and, senior executives of ACCCI's metallurgical coke producer member companies (including both merchant coke producers and integrated steel companies with coke production capacity), coal chemicals member companies, coal supplier member companies, and other member companies, including industry suppliers and sales agents.

The Annual Meeting begins with an Opening Reception and Dinner on Saturday evening, April 29; continues on Sunday morning, April 30, during which your keynote presentation would take place; and, concludes with a buffet dinner on Sunday evening, April 30, with departures on Monday, May 1. We would welcome your attendance at all of these events.
It would be a great honor for ACCCI if you could accept this invitation. I look forward to hearing from you. Please contact me at 703-795-3541 or dailor@accci.org if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
David C. Ailor, P.E. President
