Essentially it offers certification for: A) The fact that the requesting roofing contractor is in fact a J-M approved roofer B) If the insulation and membrane are J-M products they themselves, as the J-M BUR insulation system, are compatable C) The cited J-M (spec) number are currently in the J-M publications as J-M BUR Systems D) J-M is not an Architectural, Engineering or deck firm and will not be responsible for those disci plines or products We are very interested in securing this business with the Air Force and are willing to listen to other counter pro posals. To certify beyond the scope of what I have listed would require some of the following: A) Review of plans and specs for the particular project B) Job site inspection C) Deck inspection by District Engineer or Sales Rep D) Engineering and/or architectural calculations E) Inspection and application of BUR system as put down At best we only do some of these services for J-M when we issue a J-M roof guarantee, other services such as A & D we are not really capable of doing on a national basis. We have reviewed this approved roofer's request for manufacturers certification of the roof/insulation system. We certify that the following described system is listed in our BUR manual and their elements are intended to be compatable as a BUR system.
