The studies that I have in mind are biodegradability tests recognized by the EPA and OECD for assessing "Ready" or "Inherent" Biodegradability of a chemical. The projection based upon the chemical structure would be that this chemical would likely be considered as persistent. However, the degree of persistence or the potential for limited biodegradability iB the issue that needs to be addressed. The tests that I can conduct in my lab will not give you the definitive answer that you may need, but they would give you a feel for what obstacles may lie ahead. Since we are now a week away from Christmas vacations etc., we would not be able to start up the CB experiments until early January. I am still interested in providing any assistance whether it be laboratory studies or consulting related to the contracted external lab study. I will leave it to you to decide whether or not I can be of assistance. You have suggested that you may contract a more detailed study to Envirogen. Another company which is very reputable in the area of biodegradability assessment would be Roy F. Weston Co. located in PA outside of Philadelphia. Have you talked to Weston?
