The composition of the present ETHYL Fluid containing ,75 theories of bromine is as follows on a weight percentage basis:- Tetraethyl Lead * Ethylene Dibromide Ethylene Dichloride Kerosene and impurities Dye 61,69 26.88 7.55 3.76 .12 The specific gravity at 20 C. is 1.6475. We have not yet determined the freezing point of this material which will be lower than previous mixes because of the reduction of ethylene dibromide. Since it is the ethylene dibromide that freezes out, the freezing point will be lower, the lower the amount of dibromide used. It is probable that this mix will be slightly changed in the near future by eliminating most of the kerosene and perhaps m i l further reducing the dibromide.
