Use of local exhaust ventilation during hand grinding work: Answer - use of local exhaust will be required as soon as the four new portable units are available to be used in conjunction with fixed arms. Target date February 1, 1989 2. Working in confined spaces: It is currently mandatory that air movers be used before and during entry to confined spaces. 3. Personal protective equipment: Protective sleeves and aprons are available now for use. 4. Future studies needed: a. Conduct noise measurements on air carbon arc cutting during first quarter of 1989 b.
