The re s tric tio n of asbestos use on consumer products would have n e g li gible effe ct on Nuclear Service D ivision sales or performance of service. However, i f EPA would choose the course of lim itin g the amount of asbestos availab le to the marketplace, th is would be detrimental to the power generation business and to the Nuclear Service D ivision since y essential power plant service and maintenance parts (e.g., f le x it a lli c gaskets, valve packing) conmonly u t iliz e asbestos.
