You will realise, of course, that our combined opinion on the subject is not worth a great deal bht that we shall have to accept the modifica tions made as being entirely proper and to the po*nt. I suggest, therefore, that you revamp these booklets completely when you have obtained all the necessary re visions. I shall send you shortly a notation as to any changes which might be required in the Spanish. I am writing Mr, Thenault today to point out to him that the recent article on intoxication by tetraethyl lead which appeared in Prance under the name of Duvoir, M. and Coste, P, ( our Drf Cost )is not likely to benefit the situation which exists in Prance, Unfor tunately there is one statement in the article which if taken seriously may add a certain amount of fuel to the fire. It Is singularly unfortunate that this sentence appeared In the article, I quote from It as follows; "Diagnosis. Positive diagnosis of Intoxication by tetraethyl lead depends upon determining In an Individual handling this product or a tetraethyU s e d gasoline, the presence of the fundamental syndrome; falling of the arterial tension* lowering of the temperature, slowing of the pulse and finally insomnia with agitation."
