While we have not yet produced any specific formulations, ; U . Ceramic Research Department feels that they will be able to develop coatings containing lead which will not- show any signific- :am :hing in the intended use. he are anxious to know, in advance of additional work in this connec tion, whether or not lead containing enamels would be acceptable to authorities like the PDA even if we were able to demonstrate by means of tests that the leaching to be anticipated was nil. As we discussed, you could probably accomplish this without divulging our company's identity at this time.
