I shall be glad to get up an article on the distribution and concentration of lead as you suggest, though this will take us a little time. 7/e are also malting you up some iron carbonyl, which will be shipped to you shortly. In this connection we had a conference the other day with representatives of the I.Gi, and they still insist that all of their experience indi cates that iron carbonyl represents no appreciable hazard. They stated that they have had accidents in the manufac turing plant in which large quantities of it were spilled, and that all of the men who were exposed to it were examined and no evidence whatever of any effect was obtained. They feel that its rapid decomposition is responsible for their results. They stated that they have worked in close con tact with the German public health people and as it happens the latter are permitting them to sell in small cans a mixture of iron carbonyl, benzol, and mono-methyl-aniline, with which the mototist can dope his own gasoline. I merely mention these facts as of possible interest to you.
