The purpose of the investigation was to find out the extent of the contamination and any impact on human health. As of June 1996, we have written two reports . If you would like to examine these reports, they will be on file at the Anniston-Calhoun County Public Library, 100 E 10th Street, Anniston, Alabama. Ask for the: Health Consultation for the Monsanto Company Site, Anniston, Calhoun County, Alabama, CERCLIS Number ALD004019048 and/or Health Consultation for the Cobbtown/Sweet Valley Community PCB Exposure Investigation Report Summaries of the second report, the PCB exposure investigation, are enclosed. One summary describes the work that was done on the east side of the plant (Cobbtown/Sweet Valley). Another summary describes the work that was done on the west side of the plant (Four Squares Community).
