Ohio O.D. 16345 Dear Dr, Kehoei We are taking the liberty of referring the above named claimantto you for a special medical exami nation to determine whether or not he had any disability re sulting from lead poisoning. He quit work May 27, 1938 after having been employed as a crane operator at the Eagle-Picher Lead Company for a number of years. According to the reports of the employer this man had no symptoms. of lead poisoning at the time of his discharge. He had been frequently examined by the company physician, Dr. Matuska, who states that his last examination was made on May 19 at which time there were no complaints of physical disability. The claimantrs address is 1022 Fifth Ave., Dayton,. Kentucky and we are instructing him to make an appointment with you. If you do not hear from him within a few days I would suggest that you write him at that address, telling him when and where to ap pear for the examination. We would like to have your opinion as to whether or not this man ever had lead poisoning and if so for what period was he probably disabled. Any information regarding exposure to lead and previous medical examinations can no doubt be obtained from the Eagle-Picher Lead Company. Kindly file your report and fee bill as usual.
