Therefore, the automobile is not sig n ifica n t as a source of free asbestos. Ford has examined the total process of providing asbestos lining materials on its vehicles. From a medical standpoint, problems from q t exposure to asbestos may have to be overcome in the mine, in the making of the linings and in our supplier plants. Free asbestos from vehicle usage and brake service is not considered a problem. Mr. E. J . S e lik o ff is- an internationally recognized authority on this Y subject and has agreed with these findings. His works are referenced in oo in an SA paper on the subject.
