Not having heard further from you about the matter of your customer who was cited for failure to conduct training under the terms of the OSHA Vinyl Chloride Standard, I just wanted to check and make sure that the mate rials we sent you were useful. As we discussed over the telephone, we would be pleased to provide you or your customer with an appropriate opinion letter which he could use to encourage the inspector to withdraw the citation. Of course, if that did not do the trick, as you can see from the materials we supplied, we are in an excellent position to defend either you or your custom er at the OSHA Region level or file a timely protest to chal lenge the citation and provide complete follow-up for the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission here in Washington.
