Ryan,
I hope you got some downtime over the Thanksgiving holiday!
Just checking on whether you'd had a chance to think about a meeting for my coal refuse clients. If others aren't available, we'd would be happy to meet with you!
Sorry to be a pest...
Best wishes,
Karen

Ryan,
I thought the attached letter from Senator Toomey to the Administrator re: coal refuse plants might be of interest.
Thank you!
Best wishes,
Karen

That's correct. For a period of two years anyone joining EPA is recused from working on matters specific to their former employer. This even applies to former state officials being recused from permits, implementation plans, and decisions specifically addressing the state where they were employed. I'm happy to answer any specific questions as well. Thanks for reaching out. Ryan.

Hi Andy,
Should a Ford matter raise to the level of the Regional Administrator's Office, it would be handled by the Deputy Regional Administrator. The Deputy Regional Administrator will handle Ford matters in the same manner and under the same policies as all manufacturing issues within the region.
Ryan Jackson, Chief of Staff, and Charles Munoz, Whitehouse liaison, would be happy to discuss this further. I have copied them, should they want to add to my answer.
Thank you for you consideration -- Chad

Chad
Did you manage to get anything from EPA about how Ford issues would be handled and what the process would be as per John Mellen request?
Andy

I would love to get a letter from previous chairs and appreciate that offer.
So that you know, five spoken to Seth Davis and Mike Gerrard who are agreeable to letters. Your help is really appreciated.

I appreciate the letter offer and want to take you up on it. Eve spoken already with a couple of past chairs who I know would contribute.
However, I wanted to shoot this past you too. This is actually from the section for a previous nominee. Of course, I'm greedy and this was the purpose of my call to John Milner. Just wanted you to be aware, and thank you so much for you time to reach out to the section staff in Chicago.
Thanks
Ryan.
