According to Andrew, remediation of the ADP Ponds may be required. Longer term, discharges from the landfills (outfalls) may need to be addressed. Drilling and sampling at Little Hocking Is scheduled to start on Monday (8/19). Work will be overseen by Little Hocking Consultants. Ohio ERA will be onsite. WVDEP may be present. USEPA may visit on 8/22. Lots of news media are expected. Sampling in Ohio (residential areas) is continuing. The initial survey of the 2-mile radius is almost complete. Based on the survey results, only a limited number of homes will be sampled. Drilling and well installation at Main Plant, Dry Run, and Local Landfills are complete. Drilling and well installation at Letart is underway. Groundwater sampling of the new wells will commence in September. GAC unit started last week. Sampling of the unit is continuing. Quarterly sampling of the landfills Is scheduled for late August. River sampling completed. C-8 was not detected in surface water sampled upstream and along the facility. C-8 was detected in downstream samples. Concentrations ranged from 0.098 -1.09 ug/l. EID652519
