NEW BUSINESS PT Engineer Procedure Knowledge and Understanding During major shutdowns just completed in West and East plants, some PT engineers are showing a lack of knowledge and understanding of plant safety procedures. PT should undertake a training program to familiarize new personnel with requirements for vessel entry, blinding, lockout, special permits, etc. This item will be referred to the PT Safety Committee. Ground Fault Interrupters John Andrews expressed concern over contractor equipment used for 110 volt service while inside vessels. Even though ground fault interrupters are used, there are enough different receptacles, plugs, and adapters in use to allow inadvertent bypassing of the ground fault interrupt system. This item will be referred to the I&E superintendent for recommendations. OLD BUSINESS Safety Glasses Repair Minor repair of safety glasses is now available at Safety Supplies. This item is complete.
