Re: PFOA Human Health Effects Study: Cancer Data
Ladies and Gentlemen:
In response to USEPA's request for available information regarding the potential threat to human health or the environment from PFOA, we previously forwarded to you preliminary abstracts/summaries of data generated in connection with a survey of adverse health effects among individuals exposed to PFOA-contaminated drinking water in communities near E.I. duPont de Nemours and Company's Washington Work Plant in Wood County, West Virginia (see, e.g., OPPT-2003-0012-607, OPPT-2003-0012-677, and AR-226-1714-16). A sa supplement to those previous submissions, we have enclosed a copy of several slides from a presentation that was made to the public in Hong Kong during the November 2004 International
