UNITED BRAKE PARTS DIVISION UNVEILS LIKE NO PRODUCT LINE United Brake Parts Division's new product line, Like Nu, featuring remanu factured heavy duty valves and compres sors will be available in January 1989. Like Nu products are submitted to a rigorous testing process to ensure that they meet O.E.M. specifications. Parts and components that don't completely meet original specifications are replaced with new parts. United backs the prod ucts with a superior warranty. After Like Nu compressors are assem bled, they are mounted to a test stand for comprehensive engine simulation testing. This simulation tests them for pressure build-up time, correct oil flow and consumption rates. The oil flow through the compressor and oil consump tion past the rings are also monitored. Like Nu compressors meet or exceed fed eral requirements for build-up time. Like Nu remanufactured valves under go a rugged cleaning process before they are assembled with new rubber and brass parts. All originally plated compon ents are replaced to prevent corrosion. Throughout the process of recondition ing and remanufacturing, the values un dergo continual testing so that they meet O.E.M. specifications. The compact merchandising system features a two-tiered, 18-inch wide dis play rack. The Single Lead Program contains leads for 90% of the domestic vehicle market as well as most popular import vehicles.
