The last I had heard on the 180 days credit issue for India is that it was put on hold indefinately. Today I received an order from India for Premier Vinyl 15MT R103 at 1625/MT under 180 day 1/c payment term. The cover letter reads as follows; "We have taken approval from Mr. Shankar Krishna it for 180 days credit <60 days interojst free and balance 120 days at prime rate of interest). Request please seek clearance with your credit Dept, for the same, I it case you have a problem, please get back to as immediately or else please go ahead with the booking as per enclosed indent." 1 have not yet received this 1/c. Please advise if/how to proceed with this order. Thank you!!
