TYPE 1.1 - Pre-painted, galvanised, corrugated sheets will be used for all new buildings, and for replacement of roofing and siding on delet ing buildings when complete roofing and/or siding is replaced. Sheets will be furnished by Fairfield Works in 27-1/2" widths for roofing end 26" widths for siding. Only touch-up field paint ing will be required. 1.2 - Standard 1.23 ounce coated 27-1/2" wide roofing and 26" wide siding shall be used for repairs that include partial replacement of roof ing and siding. These sheets shall be field painted. 1.3 - In special cases, 2.5 ounce coated 38" .wide roofing and 37" wide siding; stainless steel; or coated sheets may be required. Fairfield Works will provide American Bridge with the necessary specifications in these particular situations. 2. MAXPfifti AVAILABLE LENGTHS 2.1 - 27-1/2" wide, 24, 22 and 20 gauge - 14' length 2.2 - 27-1/2" wide, 18 gauge - 12* length 2.3 - 26" wide, 26, 24, 22 and 20 gauge - 14* length 2.4 - On special orders 16* lengths may be obtained in 26 through 20 gauge. 3. ERECTION OF CORRUGATED ROOFING AND SIDING 3.1 - Attached general specification "Removing and Erecting Corrugated Roofing and Siding" dated June 18, 1964 provides Fairfield Works erection standards.
