Case No, C84-7854 Counsel: The following is an update of the status of the abovecaptioned matters and an announcement of a meeting of counsel. On June 14, 1985, John J. McHugh of this office and Kirk J. Delli Bovi, attorney for the plaintiffs, stipulated that the above defendants may have an extension of time until July 24, 1985 within which to move, plead or otherwise respond to the plaintiffs' first amended complaints in each of the abovecaptioned matters. Subsequently, on June 17, 1985, we receiv d notice, copies of which are enclosed herewith, from Mr. Delli Bovi that plaintiffs will take the videotape trial testimony of PRIVILEGED AND "CONFIDENTIAL MATERIAL SUBJECT TO PROTECTIVE ORDER" UCC 082679 Fuller & Henry TOLEDO, OHIO 43603 Messrs. Endicott, Fast, Feit, Friar, Rigrish, and Walter July 1, 1985 Page 2 Fred A. Wallace on July 17, 1985 and that of Herman A. Dending r on August 1, 1985. The Group will, of course, be represented at said proceedings. It is important that we meet with inside counsel of all members of the Group in order to prepare for the aforesaid videotape trial testimony and discuss preparation of an answer and future strategy. Accordingly, a meeting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 1985, at the Sheraton Hopkins Airport Hotel, 5300 Riverside Drive in Cleveland, Ohio. Lunch will be provided. Additionally, at Harold Fast's suggestion, we will be inviting M. Donald Carmin, counsel for Chrysler, to our meeting to assist in planning a coordinated defense.
