I have to go to Washington for the next day or two on a matter in which I was involved last year, but I anticipate that I shall be reasonably free of out of town engagements during the remainder of this month, with the exception of September 27 and 28, and, perhaps, the 29th when I shall be in Omaha to attend a hearing. 4 Incidentally, this trip will take me into your neighborhood, and I wonder, therefore, whether you can, or wish to,see me in Wichita. Let me say, at once, that this is not the best arrangement for my convenience, for I would prefer to see and talk with you at my office (for pureiy personal reasons). However, I am mindful of the necessity, frequently, of being confronted with the problems at issue where they occur, and if something of the sort could be looked into - in the first instance, I might be able to give you better advice than I could at a distance, as to what should be done.
