STLCOPCB4034954 Draft Position Statement-Bomb Threat This morning!! afternoon; evening at approximately t i me, Monsanto's Carondelet Plant received an anonymous telephone call or hand written message alleging that a bomb has or had been planted somewhere in this facility. Monsanto has contacted or contacted the St. Louis Police, the Bomb/Arson Squad and the Fire Department. The police will be here momentarily to investigate the threat or are currently here investigating the threat. Also, since receiving the call or message. Monsanto is takinq or has taken several operating precautions within the plant to protect our employees and the surrounding community and to secure the facility. As update information on the police investigation of the plant becomes available, we will share it with you. If additional emergency procedures need to be taken in the community, the authorities will communicate that to you immediate1y.
