Dear Mr. Watkins:
Sampling of public water supplies along the Ohio River to determine C-8 concentrations began in December 2001 as required by the Consent Order (Order No. GWR-2001-019). Currently, three public water supplies, Lubeck (West Virginia), Tuppers Plains (Ohio) and Little Hocking (Ohio), are sampled on a quarterly basis.
The finalized C-8 results for the 2Q03 sampling events conducted at Little Hocking (Ohio), Lubeck (West Virginia), and Tuppers Plains (Ohio) on May 27 and 28, 2003, are presented in Table 1. Figure 1 shows the locations of the three public water supplies sampled along the Ohio River.
