New turbine maintenance movie
Those charged with the care and oper ation of steam turbines will find this 30minute sound movie a useful educational tool.
It shows the details which mark a wellplanned mechanical-drive turbine instal lation. It explains a program of daily atten tion and regular maintenance best calcu lated to keep Elliott Type YR turbines running like new. And it describes the com plete step-by-step disassembly and assembly of a typical turbine.
Your Elliott representative will be glad to furnish a print of the film to those inter ested in viewing it. If necessary, he can arrange all details of a showing of the film to interested groups.

Among unusual uses for tube cleaners, put down the following: A cement company in Michigan is using tube cleaners to locate underground pipe without digging it up. They merely start a tube cleaner into the pipe and follow the noise.
