Upon motion duly made and seconded the following resolu
tion was adopted:
RESOLVED, That effective this date and superseding all previous actions on the subject, the purchase of automotive vehicles for Company use be placed under the jurisdiction of the Manufacturing Committee* with au thority to approve directly without reference to the Executive Committee, all replacement purchases where the list price is not more than $2,000.00; all requests for automotive equipment costing in excess of this amount to be referred to the Executive Committee upon endorsement by the Manufacturing Committee; and that a monthly report on all purchases be presented to the Board of Directors at the latest meeting of the Execu tive Committee prior to_tfee regular monthly meeting of the Board.
The Committee approved the proposal of the Titanium Divi
sion in letter of January 9, 19^8 from Mr. C. F. Garesche, General
Manager, that the Company deed to the town of Hewcomb, Hew Tork,
the road right-of way beginning at the northwesterly terminus of
the town road from the Upper Works Club gate approximately 1-1/2
miles to the trail leading to Lake Henderson.
Acting upon the recommendation of the Titanium Division
in letter of January 12, 1948 from Mr. C. F. Garesche, General Manager,
the Committee authorized the grant of easements to certain trails
through the MacIntyre property, as desired by the Conservation De
partment of the State of Hew York, and embodied in an agreement
submitted with said letter
