Kehoe, Dear Dr. Kehoej I had a meeting in Chicago on Saturday with almost the full Board of Directors of the Indiana company in > reference to our contract with them upon the termination of the exclusive arrangement on March 1. I was assured that we would have their whole hearted support in reference to mixing at their various points and the equipment used in connection with it. I was asked if I would point out any deficiencies at any of their mixing points. They informed-me that some changes had been made since I last took the subject up with Mr. Parks and that they 'were getting away from carload mixing. I told them that we were most de sirous of eliminating carload mixing at all points and with all customers, that we did not want an exception anywhere. I was advised that they would do everything possible to co operate with us in the matter. Would it not be a good plan for Siebenthaler to make a final check-up at the points where there was a question so that you and I might have the benefit of the present status. I would like to take it up with them in such manner as to impress them with the fact that we are follow ing what they are doing right up to the present, to the end that thqy will not be in position to say that this or that has been done since such and such a date.
