In the letter, Ohio EPA recommends that DuPont conduct the following activities in the vicinity o f the LHWA well field: Establish at least 8 locations to collect surface soil analysis for C-8, with the locations to be selected based upon air and ground water modeling and soil and ground water data already collected. * Install at least 4 groundwater m onitoring wells within the LHWA well field to monitor foe shallow portion o f foe saturated zone. Sample quarterly in conjunction with production well sam pling DuPont agrees to foe above recommendations and in addition, offers foe following enhancements with respect to foe recommended surface soil analysis: Two soil sampling events will be conducted, one directly after a >0.5 inch rain event and foe other a ft 5 days o f no precipitation.
