Dear Toby;
v
The other day I read in the "W all Street Journal" where Raybestos was being
' - sued by 163 em ployees due to the fact that they were not properly notified of
the hazards of working around a sb e sto s . As you know, we cten cil our segment

CAUTION CONTAINS ASBESTOS FIBRES . AVOID CREATING DUST BREATHING ASBESTOS DUST MAY
CAUSE SERIOUS BODILY HARM
I know you have taken steps to protect your people; however, it comes to mind " that you may have some responsibility to your custom ers and might consider
including this same caution on your boxes or la b els. This could also be used
' a s another strong reason for discouraging field grinding of brake shoes by the Jobbers and/or brake shops.
