Harbison, Jr. B3SA So much publicity is being given to Dow and Dow Corning having practical PCB substitutes that I feel the need for a Monsanto position paper. Their publicity is prompting many questions within the company, the Board, and from outside. The general answers that Dow is simply irresponsible in publicly claiming more than they can deliver on is probably accurate, but difficult to sell. Will you give some thought as to a summing up of replacement products by Monsanto and others, describing the realities as best we know them for substitutes in transformers and capacitors?
