cation, stese for heating is jetted through the eductor nozzle elidnating the use of leed ateaa colls for beating.
Cast dicing heads (See Drawing Po. 2) of silicon bronze are used In dxing the add slua with the sodlta sllicste but proved to be very porous and the solu tion aeeped through. The nixlr.g heads were continued in uso with disdnlsbed seepage after ispretnatiri the castings with a phenolie resin. Connections to
the nixing bead are of Sarcn tubir*. (a vinyl plastic) which has givan good ser vice and eliminated a leakage problca around threaded bronze joints.
A nozzle of Luclte provides an esdt fron the rl.i, . head and the nlxture Is discharged over the apex of a fluted cone of plaster of parts. A this antlwetting wax coating originally applied to .the cone surface to prevent g*l adhereoos wore off in spot* necessitating 'tsily redlpyifsg. An Aaerieoat resin paint was applied and increased cone Ilf* nearly thirty tines.
