Dear Mr. Pruitt,
I appreciate the automated response that acknowledges the receipt of my emails. I also realize that your staff is likely inundated with multiple requests from small businesses that have questions/issues/concerns regarding the EPAs criteria in evaluating business practices as it relates to United States manufacturing.
I have attached the last four emails (in one attachment) submitted to your office to provide an email string of historical information of what issues concern our company, Angstrom Technologies.
Since my last email we have hired another consultant to review and address the latest denial from the EPA to enable Angstrom to move forward with the manufacture of our product. This process has caused us a loss of revenue in business (for nearly a year now) in the delay of manufacture do to several denials from the EPA as well as the cost of hiring consultants to address issues raised.
In everything that I have read, the EPA has become business friendly and they want to help expedite issues to enable businesses to move forward. Frankly, our company has not witnessed or experienced this new perspective from the EPA even with you being the new EPA Administrator.
We are currently preparing yet another series of responses to the EPA to be completed in the next two weeks.
We have been told by one of our consultants that the EPA team working on our issues would like for us to meet them at their location. We are "eager" to meet with them in person and to have our latest information from our two PhD Chemists and our two consultants in their hands prior to our visit so the EPA team can review it before we meet. An exact date has not yet been set - but we are hoping the first week or second week of December at the latest to schedule the meeting date.
I am asking please that someone from your staff be present at this meeting once we schedule the date. We do not have a specific date yet - but can you "tentatively" have a staff member available for the first or second week of December to attend the meeting? We believe by the end of this month (if not sooner) we will have a specific date and we will forward that to you.
We need to resolve this issue before this year is over. We need to manufacture this product in the United States. This product will be used worldwide in security government applications including those in the United States.
We can use all the help we can - to make this happen. Please have someone contact me directly.
Sincerely,
Tony Petrucci,
President & CEO

Thank you for your email message.
Promoting and protecting a strong and healthy environment is among the lifeblood priorities for the government. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is vital to that mission. I am proud to lead this agency, and I seek to listen and learn as we address the issues we face as a nation.
I believe we can grow our economy and harvest the resources we are blessed with while also being good stewards of the air, land and water by which we have been favored.
Together with the dedicated public servants at the EPA and our state partners across this great country, we can and will achieve clean air and water and strong economic growth and job creation. I hope you will visit www.epa.gov to learn more about our work and to follow our progress.
My staff will follow up in response to your email as necessary and appropriate.
Respectfully yours, E. Scott Pruitt EPA Administrator
