AG Paxton is flying in on Tuesday, 10/3, so late afternoon on that day works great. We anticipate him arriving in DC by noon. Please let me know what time best fits in Administrator Pruitt's schedule. Thank you again for your consideration. Administrator Pruitt would be happy to take this meeting. Unfortunately, he is traveling 10/4-10/6. Would AG Paxton be available on 10/3 instead? We could do something later in the aftemoon/early evening if he is flying in that day. Let us know if that would work. Thank you and we look forward to welcoming him here. EPA ED_001523B_00000257-00002 Good afternoon, I am writing on behalf of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. AG Paxton respectfully requests a meeting with EPA Administrator Pruitt while he is in Washington DC, October 3-6. The topic of the meeting would be federal regulatory reform, an issue that impacts numerous cases that Texas is currently litigating. In May, AG Paxton led a 16-state coalition in calling on the Trump Administration to take action in accordance with two principles - restoring the role of Congress and ensuring impartial adjudications. AG Paxton would like to share his perspective on the proper scope of federal administration agencies as well as some ideas for practical reforms. As mentioned above, AG Paxton will be in Washington DC the first week in October and is available for a meeting on the following dates and times: Wednesday, 10/4, 10:00 - 11:00 am Thursday, 10/5, 10:00 - 11:00 am, and 2:00 - 3:00 pm Friday, 10/6, 10:00- 11:00 am Please let me know if any of these fits in the Administrator's schedule. If not, please feel free to propose a date/time that works best. Kind regards, Sarah Burgess Director of Scheduling Office of the Attorney General 17cv1906 Sierra Club v.
