Future SHAC Meetings January 2 - 1:00 p.m. - VIP Conference Room January 9 - 1:00 p.m. - VIP Conference Room EPP Drill An edited tape of the EPP Drill was shown at the December's PMSB meeting. A written critique of the drill was distributed to the PMSB members prior to that meeting. An action plan identifying responsibilities and timing is being prepared. PMSB Meeting The following assignments were given to SHAC by PMSB: 1. Review the current training practices (frequency, procedure, proficiency) on 5-minute escape masks, Scott air packs, and vapor suits. 2. Evaluate the cost of painting the plant's safety shower fluorescent green. Extreme Cold Weather Contingency Actions The procedure for contingency action to be taken during abnormally cold weather was approved by PMSB. The procedure will be re-typed and submitted for plant manager's approval. Methanol Incident Recommendations Recommendations were made to PMSB regarding the Methanol Incident earlier this year. The recommendations were accepted, and an action plan to implement the recommendations is being generated.
