The asbestos screening program for active employees has been in operation since October, 1980. The pensioner program was implemented in May, 1981. Corporate Medical is now asking for a status report of both programs for the period October 1, 1980 to October 1, 1981.
The attached form should be completed and returned to me by October 31, 1981.

COLUMN 1. Self-explanatory. 2. Employees - show number selected for review based on age and latency period requirement and Company-related asbestos exposure. Pensioners - Show number that responded to your letter indicating that they would like to participate. 3,4,5 - Self-explanatory. 6. This would be those people who had an abnormality not related to asbestos and/or those who have a possible related asbestos abnormality but not Company-related. 7,8,9,10,11 - Self-explanatory 12. Include cases filed and those that you know will be filed.
