Browni Both Mr. Strapson and ayself have read your report on your trip to Pittsbugh for the purpose of attending the meeting held at the Mellon Institute. ' I t i s our feeling a3 a Corporation, that we hardly need to go to the additional e^ense of Joining the group, who are to noice use of tbo services of the Mellon Institute, for the reason that we have a pretty definite program which yourselves and ourselves are following. Of course there i s the angle of getting as many of the indus trie s interested as po6siblo in order that proper legisla tion may be enacted, but feel that we could determine what i s best for our own industry. By the way, i t was only today that Mr. Simpson made the suggestion that possibly the time i3 ripe to try and get the Asbestos Institute, or at any rate, as many of the manufacturers in the industry, interested. Personally, I am afraid that we will have to make a li t t le more progress before wo can go to them 03 a whole, but am putting this question up to you, a3 I am wondering what your re-action will bo in the matter.
