Each pips was stamped inside each end with our F.T.Lo monogram, so they could be identified later for testing purposes o Pipe was then returned to the manufacturers plant for testing in the future. On May 23, 1975, we reported to Flintkota Company in Ravenna, Ohio to witness testing of this pipe. We Identified the pipe as that which had been removed from the ground on March 20, 1975. Bach piece of pipe was cut into suitable lengths for testing. The following tests were conducted in accordance with AWW& Standards. Flexural Strength, Crushing Strength and Pressure Tests Following were results of the tests. Piece #1 Test load AWA Heats i - Class 150 Flexural Strength hydrostatic (Pressure) 8100 lbs.-> 525 lbs. 7600 minimum 525 lbs, mnimaa Motet This piece was hydro tested to 790 lbs. with no failure. It was then tested to 820 lbs. and failed the second time it was taken to 820 lbs. Piece #2 Femoral Strength 9750 lbs. at failure 7600 lb3. minimum Crushing Strength. 8$00 Ib/lin. ft. at failure 5500 Ih/lin. ft. min.
