It was a pleasure meeting you last week during the Ag CEO Council's meeting with Administrator Pruitt. I'm glad you were able to join us -and I look forward to working with you in the future. I didn't have my business card with me, but I've attached my electronic card if I may ever be of assistance.
The National Corn Growers Association has affiliated state organizations in 28 states with members in all 50 states. Our state organizations can be a great sounding board as you evaluate how EPA's regional offices are working with the regulated community. Please let me know if I can ever make introductions for you.
You do have a tough job ahead, but it also seems like an exciting time and opportunity?! The ability to shake-up EPA's regional offices--to look re-designing the regional structure and/or moving offices closer to the community (and into more cost-efficient space!)--is just the type of action that can pay long-term dividends to the environment, tax-payers, to the agency, and those of us who must comply with EPA's rules and regulations. I wish you the very best with this task.
