Haymon Recently, there has been a spate of rumors in the marketplace relative to EPA compliance by October 21, 1978. Tenneco Chemicals' statement on this issue is as follows: All EPA compliance equipment will be operational in all PVC plants on or before October 21, 1978. Tenneco Chemicals has requested a thirty day period beginning October 21 to complete compliance testing so that this data may be made available to EPA. It is TCI's policy and objective to be in compliance with Federal regulations. Rather than add fuel to the fire, I would urge each of you not to volunteer this information unless asked specifically by a customer. Should they ask, feel free to respond as I have outlined.
