PCB Losses in Sewers June losses at .9 lb/day from operating departments and the incinerator compared to 4.5 lb/day of last month. A. Aroclor Department. Losses averaged 2.5 lbs/day compared to 4 lbs/day of last month. D. Waste Treatment Effluent. Losses averaged 2 lbs/day compared to 3 lbs/day of last month. II. Program Status The HC1 pressure control valve opened 9 times for very short periods during the month indicating that a good balance between HC1 production and consumption has been maintained. The duct leading from the demister has been kept clear and the benefit has been reflected in the results. There have been no measur able losses from the HC1 using areas and the amount reaching the treatment plant is much closer to that measured at the department.
