I'll set up the bridge. Look for a calendar invitation shortly. Wed, Jul 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM On Wed, Jul 5, 2017 at 9:56 AM, Houseknecht, David <dhouse@usgs.gov> wrote: Yes, that would work. I likely will work at home, but can call in from there to a bridge, or you can dial me if you arrange a conference call. Would a call tomorrow around 1 or 2pm Eastern work for you? Aimee On Wed, Jul 5, 2017 at 9:49 AM, Houseknecht, David <dhouse@usgs.gov> wrote: Yes, I am in this week. And, I am aware that this request is an imposition on FWS, but I am attempting to comply with SO-3352 and have little choice. Perhaps it would help if we prioritize our locations in the Wilderness - I certainly can do that if it would help. They are working to address the permitting requirements for your work this summer, under pressure from the Department. Greg Siekaniec, the fWs Regional Director, called me this morning to explain the work in the 1002 should be no problem at all, but they have some extra work to do on the request to work in the Wilderness area. He was wondering whether you could start in the 1002 or whether all permit areas were needed simultaneously. He had a few other more specific questions as well. I am thinking it may be most expedient to get you on the phone with Greg and Steve Berendzen, the refuge manager. Are you on leave this week, or might you be available for a chat? Greg said his Thursday morning (afternoon your time) is wide open, so he was hoping we could aim for that if at all possible. If not, could you let me know what your schedule is next week? I apologize for going directly to you with this (cc to Murray), but I am trying to be responsive to FWS. Please let me know. Thanks, Aimee Aimee M.
