A laboratory sample has been prepared and coded AYL-666-D, Expt. 1159-39* DISCUSSXOH1 The use of l?PonsQl!T Brilliant Orange presscake gave a decidedly weaker alumina hydrate lake than "Ponsol Brilliant Orange RK paste. Homogenisation of "Ponso!" Brilliant Orange RK paste in the Manton-Gaulin mill before laking on alumina hydrate gave no apparent advantages. The use of freshly precipitated alumina hydrate showed no particular advantage over purchased alumina hydrate. EXPERIMENTAL DETAILS: Details are included in notebook 1159 experiments 37, 36, 39.
