INSTRUCTION SHEET SUSPENSION/NON-SOLVENT VINYLS BUILDINGS 119, 120, 174 1. All personnel entering the Suspension/Non-Solvent Vinyl Chloride Regulated Area must sign "IN' and "OUT" on the designated logsheet. 2. The Chief Operator in Building 174 (Ext. 503) must be called before entering the area to determine whether a mask and four hour canister must be worn in the areas which you will be. If necessary, a clean mask and four hour canister must be signed out on the form provided and worn in the necessary locations. If you will be working in any of the mask areas, as designated by the map, respiratory equipment must be worn. .3 If working or passing through an area with a blinking red light you must wear a mask or leave the area. The canisters are good for four hours, so if the seal has been broken and over four hours have elapsed, a new canister must be obtained. Do not break the seal on the canister unless it must be used. 4. If the seal has not been broken, please place the unused canister with the usable ones, when leaving the area. All used canisters must be discarded. All used masks must be placed in the designated box for cleaning by the Safety Department. .5 Please sign "OUT" before leaving the area. RHM/st Ross H.
