CHE,
Dear Sirs:
Re:E.I. DU PONT DE NEMOURS AND COMPANY
Mex. Pat. appln. No. 192A68Ccor res. to U.S. Serial No. 258.872 - Your 8efi_CH_n75_C0.0MBE_-_0ur Case 363-P
As we previously advised in different correspondence and in our im
portant information letter of January 1982, among otner important changes that the Regulations of the Law of Inventions and Marks in troduced, it was included in such Regulations Article 13, which in
general terms establishes that all pending applications which have not received any action from the applicant for one year, they (the
applications) will be abandoned unless a petition demanding uffi -
cial Action is filed before the Mexican Patent and Trademark Office.
Considering that as you no doubt will understand the control of the one year term became to be quite a burden to our firm, we have ta ken the Liberty to file petitions demanding Official Action, in all cases that we handle on your behalf, without requesting your speci fic instructions to do so. Obviously the petition demanding Official
action has been filed only in those cases where a year was to expire without receiving any decision from the Mexican authorities.
Therefore, we are glad to report that the petition demanding Official action:, has been filed on the matter (s) that we are listing in the attachment to this communication.
We are hopeful that our intervention herein will prove helpful, bea^ ring in mind that we acted on the principle followed in our practi ce, that all matters should be kept alive unless otherwise instruc ted.
