A 213-page annotated bibliography on vinyl chloride was published by the Oak Ridge National Library November 1978. Copies of three pages are attached to facilitate ordering by those interested. This document completes part of the literature review taken as a goal by this subcommittee two years ago, but which had to be abandoned since no facility capable of compiling, reviewing and disseminating the world literature could be found. 2. The Subcommittee continues to cooperate with the Fire Safety Subcommittee although this activity has not been extensive recently. 3. The Subcommittee Chairman has participated with the Communications Subcommittee in preparation and review of statements and releases. 4. The Subcommittee is aware of considerable activity in regard to health and toxicity. Issues such as inhalation and ingestion of PVC dust, lung tumors and brain tumors are reappearing and will be followed by the Subcommittee as information becomes available. Respectfully submitted. T.
